U.P. APO Alumni Association

The U.P. Alpha Phi Omega (Eta Chapter) Alumni Association (UPAPOAA) is a private organization of Alpha Phi Omega alumni in the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. Formally organized on December 12, 1976, UPAPOAA is a non-stock and non-profit service organization established to:
- Foster a stronger and more active fellowship and comradeship between and among its individual members.
- Uphold and promote the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service.
- Participate militantly and more effectively in the maintenance of the Alpha Phi Omega International Service Fraternity and Sorority in the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines, in particular, and the Alpha Phi Omega, in general.
- Secure for its members the benefits of a fraternal organization committed to the welfare of the university and faculty, the community and the nationa as fully participating citizen.
Membership to the Association is automatic for all bonafide members of the Alpha Phi Omega International (Philippines), Inc., either as constituent or affiliate members, upon completion of the basic collegiate course.
The Association’s Code of By Laws was approved on the 16th day of December 2002 at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.
The UPAPOAA, together with the U.P. Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity and Sorority in UP Diliman, has been active in initiating projects like Medical-Dental-Optical Missions to under-served communities, Scholarship Program, AIDS/STD Awareness Concerts and other benefit shows, among others.
