My beloved Brods & Sis:

It is with profound sadness that I announce the untimely demise of Sis Victoria (Vicky) Licauco Lainez at 10:00 p.m. last night at the Philippine Heart Center due to cardiac arrest. She had a heart bypass two weeks ago at St. Lukes Hospital, went home, but returned to the hospital last Tuesday for pulmonary complaints.

She is a member of the Charter Batch 1972, Eta; sister of Brod. Gene Licauco; sister-in-law of Salie Licauceo; and married to my elder brother Greg. Her remains will lie in wake at the Sanctuarium, Araneta Avenue, Q. C. until Sunday, Aug. 16. She will be transferred to Balayan Church Mortuary on Monday morning. Internment will be on Tuesday afternoon, at the Balayan Catholic Church after the 2:00 p.m. Mass.

Please pray for her.

May We Always Be,

Koreeks

The Alpha Phi Omega International Collegiate Service Fraternity and Sorority – Eta Chapter held the annual UPCAT Service Project last August 1 and 2. The resident brothers and sisters distributed maps and gave directions to examinees and parents. Multicabs with Brod Jojo Binay’s name were used for roving and documentation purposes. At the end of the day, the project was a success. Many examinees said that their negative perceptions of fraternities were proven wrong. Thank you to all alumni who came, as well as visiting brothers and sisters. See you again! May we always be.
