The U.P. ALPHA PHI OMEGA FRATERNITY was formally organized in 1951, officially recognized by the University of the Philippines in 1952 and granted charter by APO Philippines in 1953. Its sorority counterpart traces its roots from the Kappa Phi Omega organized in 1957 and renamed as the U.P. ALPHA PHI OMEGA SORORITY in 1972. UP Diliman is the seventh chapter of Alpha Phi Omega in the Philippines thus designated as ETA (H) Chapter...ETA for Excellence, a take off from UP's own motto: Honor (H) and Excellence (E).

Results of U.P. APO Elections

The UP APO Alumni Association and the UP APO International Service Foundation had their elections last October 23, 2009 at Metro Club in Makati City. An estimated 40-50 brothers and sisters came to grace the event. All batches were represented starting from the 50s up to the residents.
